Professional Development

No two schools are the same. So, why should your professional development be?

Whether it’s a face to face session with an experienced educator, in classroom modeling of best practices, technology walk throughs, online courses, or a customized training created specifically for the technology, pedagogy and curriculum you use, ProComputing will work with your leadership team to create a professional development plan that is relevant for you.

Customized Training

We believe the power of technology is truly seen when considered in the appropriate context of pedagogy (how teachers teach) and content. It is from this framework we have developed strategies and practices for working with districts, campuses, cohorts and other educational entities to develop customized professional development sessions. Courses can be customized by grade level, content area, curriculum (i.e. CSCOPE, district created curriculum, etc), learning styles, student populations, type of technology used, teaching strategies and beyond.

Customized Professional Development plans can also include the following services:
  • • Technology walk-throughs and needs assessments
  • • Facilitation of Professional Learning Communities, Cohort meetings and Teacher Councils
  • • Administrative Sessions
  • • In classroom modeling of best practices and technology integration strategies
